I have a few more Silk Naturals eyeshadows to show you. These are the golds and coppers from the Fall 2011 collection. Plus a gift with purchase.
Part 1 (blues, greens, and teals) can be viewed here.
Part 2 (pinks and purples) can be viewed here.
From L to R: Hairpin, Spoiler, Fusion, and My Goodness (GWP).
Hairpin is a mid-tone copper bronze. It has an Eyelight finish, and it is so flippin' gorgeous!
Spoiler is a golden bronze with a tinge of green. It's shimmery, but not too shimmery. It doesn't have an Eyelight finish, but it's a beautiful shade.
Fusion is a golden gray with copper highlights. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this color when I ordered it, but when I received it, I was surprised at how amazing it actually is. It has an Eyelight finish and has a wonderful iridescent glow.
My Goodness is a shimmery pink with a hint of brown and a purple sheen. This was a gift with purchase during that week. So pretty!
I hope these photos and swatches help. The shades are not really easy to describe accurately since each color (like Hairpin and Fusion) has a highlight that changes hue depending on the light source and how the light hits it. Most of them are semi-sheer to semi-opaque with a pearlescent sheen. They can be used wet or dry, but of course using a good eyeshadow primer will intensify the colors and give you the best results. I am really impressed with these Eyelights (and even the ones that aren't, like Spoiler), and I hope to see more of this texture and finish in the future.
What do you think? Did any of these shades make your shopping basket?

Silk Naturals Fall 2011 Eyeshadows Review & Swatches (Part 1)
Silk Naturals recently launched 26 new eyeshadows this fall! Of course, there are new lip colors and blushes too, but the next series of posts will feature 17 new shades, 13 of which have the new "Eyelight" finish.
Eyelights are new and unique to Silk Naturals. They have a color shifting quality that will look different on each individual. According to the website, "Applied dry they're a silky somewhat sheer soft pearl texture. Applied over Stick 'Em primer the base color deepens, and the highlights pop out to create a lit from within glow." If you don't have the Stick 'Em primer, you can get them at Silk Naturals... or any eyeshadow primer will work.
This post features the blues, greens, and teals... Momentum, Swift, In Gear, Magpie, Rogue, Nebula, and Kingfisher. Swatched dry without a primer.
From L to R: Momentum, Swift, In Gear, and Magpie.
From L to R: Magpie, Rogue, Nebula, and Kingfisher.
Momentum is a light grayish green with golden highlights. It has an Eyelight finish. Applied dry, it's a little bit on the sheer side, but it would look more intense over a primer.
Swift is a medium green with golden highlights. It also has an Eyelight finish. The color changes from a golden green to a muted green to a silvery-gray depending on the lighting.
In Gear is a deep brownish olive green with copper, green, and golden shimmer. This is definitely a great crease color and/or a liner.
Magpie is a light sky blue with golden highlights. It has an Eyelight finish. The color changes from a light blue to a blue green to a golden green depending on the lighting. Sooo pretty! It's my new favorite shade. Unfortunately, most of it ended up on my carpet by accident, so I'll have to repurchase another jar someday.
Rogue is a medium-deep teal green with golden highlights. It has an Eyelight finish too. This is simply beautiful!
Nebula is medium-deep teal blue with aqua blue sparkle and sheen. This color looks amazing! I LOVE IT!
Kingfisher is a blackened navy blue with turquoise highlights. It makes an awesome eyeliner, but you can wear it however you want to (lid/crease/liner). It also has an Eyelight finish.
The shades are not easy to describe accurately nor are they easy to photograph, but I do hope these swatches help. MAC Posh Paradise Mattenes Review & Swatches
MAC Posh Paradise recently launched ten new and limited edition Mattenes. I am usually not a big fan of matte lipsticks. In fact, the only matte lipsticks in my collection are Russian Red and Candy Yum-Yum. However, I decided to try a couple of Mattenes because I've heard great things about them, and the two shades that really caught my attention are Deliciously Forbidden and Rare Exotic.
MAC Deliciously Forbidden Mattene (left) and MAC Rare Exotic Mattene (right):
MAC Deliciously Forbidden Mattene (left) and MAC Rare Exotic Mattene (right):
Deliciously Forbidden is a midtone rosy berry pink. It's a lovely shade that's universally flattering. (Sorry... my lips were so dry...)
Rare Exotic is a bright fuchsia pink. This one's hot hot HOT!
I think these shades are both fantastic and outstanding. I wouldn't call these matte. They're more of a semi-matte. The texture is light, smooth, and creamy. They apply beautifully and provide an opaque color coverage. The formula has great lasting power without drying out your lips. I wish MAC would make these permanent!
Are any of you getting anything from this collection? What's on your list? Have you tried MAC Mattenes yet? How do you like them?

MAC Posh Paradise Paint Pots Review & Swatches
MAC Posh Paradise hit the stores last Thursday. There are eight Paint Pots included in this collection.
MAC Treasure Hunt Paint Pot:
MAC Genuine Treasure Paint Pot:
MAC Nubile Paint Pot:
MAC Idyllic Paint Pot:
MAC Half-Wild Paint Pot:
MAC Hyperviolet Paint Pot:
MAC Pure Creation Paint Pot:
MAC Imaginary Paint Pot:
Treasure Hunt is a frosty light yellow gold. Genuine Treasure is a glittery golden bronze, which is sheer but buildable. It can also be used as a base or layered over another shade to give it some oomph.
Nubile is a light peachy nude with a slight pearly sheen. Idyllic is a brownish burgundy red with a frost finish. These two shades are surprisingly amazing! I'm really glad I got these.
Half-Wild is a medium purple with red undertones and very fine shimmer. This shade is gorgeous! No wonder it sold out so quickly. Hyperviolet is a blackened eggplant purple, which is more of a cream or satin finish.
Pure Creation is a frosty midtone cerulean blue, which is just absolutely beautiful. Imaginary is a blackened navy blue with a frost finish. This is a great color, which appears like a blackened purple in some lighting. Almost duochrome-y.
I LOVE these MAC Paint Pots! They are smooth, creamy and blend easily. They can be used as an eyeshadow base or worn alone as a quick wash of color on a lazy day. They can be sheered out, applied heavily, or layered to a desired intensity. And most importantly, they last for hours on end without creasing or fading.

Wet ‘n’ Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio Review & Swatches
I purchased these Wet 'n' Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trios earlier this year when I first wanted to try this brand, and I've been so impressed that I ended up buying every WnW Color Icon Eyeshadow available (singles, trios, 6-pans, and 8-pans). Still a bit sad that I could not find the limited edition WnW Dream Weavers Collection anywhere, so I thought why not just play with the trios I already own from their permanent line.
331 - I Dream of Greenie:
"I Dream of Greenie" contains a frosty pale mint green browbone shade, a shimmery medium grass green crease shade, and a shimmery bright lime green eyelid shade. One of my favorite trios!
332 - I'm Feeling Retro:
"I'm Feeling Retro" includes a frosty white browbone shade, a frosty medium blue crease shade, and a fuchsia pink eyelid shade with an iridescent purple sheen. I really like the colors in this trio, especially that fuchsia-pink shade, which has an almost-duochrome look to it.
333 - I Got Good Jeans:
"I Got Good Jeans" consists of a metallic silvery pale blue browbone shade, a frosty navy blue crease shade, and a metallic yellow gold eyelid shade. The pale blue shade doesn't work as a highlighter for my skin tone, but I love it all over my lid.
334 - I'm Getting Sunburned:
"I'm Getting Sunburned" contains a frosty light pink browbone shade, a dark brown crease shade with copper shimmer, and a metallic coppery bronze eyelid shade. I prefer to use the light pink shade as an eyelid color rather than as a browbone color because of how frosty and pigmented it is. I really like the coppery bronze shade, but the dark brown can have a bit of fallout.
335 - Silent Treatment:
"Silent Treatment" includes a shimmery light peach browbone shade, a dark brown crease shade with gold shimmer, and a shimmery purple taupe eyelid shade. I LOVE this trio! I reach for this one regularly when I only have a few minutes in the mornings.
336 - Spoiled Brat:
"Spoiled Brat" consists of a metallic silver browbone shade, a soft matte black crease shade with silver sparkles, and a satin fuchsia pink eyelid shade. I really like the color combo in this trio, but the black shade could have been a bit more pigmented.
Overall, I love these trios! Without a doubt, these are some of the best eyeshadows you'll find in the drugstore. The eyeshadows are soft, smooth, and super pigmented. They apply nicely and blend easily. I've worn these for at least 8 hours over UDPP (sometimes TFSI) without any fading or creasing. Amazing quality at a very affordable price ($2.99)!
Have you tried any of these Wet 'n' Wild trios? If not, what is your favorite product from this brand? Share your thoughts!
