I've never tried MAC Cremeblend Blushes before, so I decided to get the three shades that were released with the Shop MAC / Cook MAC collection... Florida, Optimistic Orange, and Restores Dazzle!
From L to R: Florida, Optimistic Orange, and Restores Dazzle!
MAC Florida Cremeblend Blush:
Florida is a bright fuchsia pink.
It's so bright that it can look a bit scary, but it melts into your skin and blends effortlessly, giving you a very pretty and natural-looking flush.
MAC Optimistic Orange Cremeblend Blush:
Optimistic Orange is a bright orange.
At first, I wasn't sure about this color because it's very orange, but it turns into a lovely peachy color when applied. Very wearable.
MAC Restores Dazzle! Cremeblend Blush:
Restores Dazzle! is a rosy plum.
This one looks very dark in the pan, but it looks so gorgeous once applied. I love pairing this with plum and berry lip colors.
I'm really glad I decided to try these MAC Cremeblend Blushes. They are incredibly pigmented, but the texture is very soft and smooth, making it really easy to blend out. I use a stippling brush to achieve a natural look, but it can be built up for a dramatic look. They feel nice and lightweight, creamy not greasy, and I get about 8 hours of wear without looking oily. To be honest, I was not a huge fan of cream blushes before, but I really like the formula of MAC Cremeblend Blushes and need more of them in my life!
